Southern Utah University (SUU) Alumnus, Brian Cameron (’12,
management; ’13, MBA), believes that SUU has professors that are truly
invested in their students.
Cameron says he has been helped by professors, post graduation, who have offered advice and counseled him on his career path.
"Absolutely all of my professors have impacted me, but none more than
Ellen Treanor. She has been available to help me begin a career and
push entrepreneurial endeavors," says Cameron.
Cameron recalls winning the best business competition two years in a row with two different innovative business concepts.
As a recently hired marketing manager, at NuSkin Enterprises, Cameron
is in charge of marketing campaigns for their product lines and
developing new engaging media.
Cameron says learning to speak Korean, helping to create one of the
largest social groups at SUU and earning his MBA are among his
accomplishments that he is most proud of.
"My favorite SUU memory is that of playing on the basketball team
while being able to get an MBA and participate socially in the
activities in Cedar City," said Cameron.
His interests and hobbies include sports, especially basketball and
extreme sports, entrepreneurship, inventions, public speaking and world
travel.
"I spend a lot of time thinking of new innovative products and doing
things with friends such as boating, four-wheeling, and attending
baseball games and events," says Cameron.
Cameron is from Draper, Utah. He is single and a member of the LDS
church. He finds joy in taking people to do things they have never done
before. Cameron has four sisters and parents that he loves very much.
